Why would my battery light came on while driving?
If your battery warning light comes on whilst you’re driving, it means that your battery is no longer being charged by the alternator and is running only on its own charge. That means that your car is only running on battery power that will eventually run out, bringing your car to a halt.
What should I do if my amp fuses are blown?
Not many amplifiers will illuminate the protection light when the fuses are blown but a few will so you need to check this. If the fuse holders are melted, you need to have the amp checked by a technician to determine why they melted and to determine if the fuse holders are usable.
What to do if your amp light is not working?
Power up the amp, if the light bulb doesn’t glow at all or glows dim then jump to the next paragraph. If the bulb glows bright then the power cord or transformer winding is shorting out internally. Drain the caps and disconnect all three power cord wires, wrap each one in electrical tape and plug in the amp.
What causes a car battery light to illuminate while driving?
As you know, the alternator is responsible for keeping the battery fully charged as you are driving the vehicle. But if you have a bad alternator, then it won’t be able to keep the battery charged. This will cause the car battery light to illuminate once there is an inconsistency in the charge.
Can you touch an amplifier with one hand?
If you have not been trained to work with high voltage then have an amp technician service your amp. Never touch the amplifier chassis with one hand while probing with the other hand because a lethal shock can run between your arms through your heart.
Is it okay to drive with a flashing check engine light?
It’s never recommended to drive with a flashing check engine light. A constant check engine light can be okay to drive with sometimes, but a flashing engine light is most likely a more serious problem that has to be fixed as soon as possible.
When does the service engine light start flashing?
Started on 2nd try. When at a stoplight idling it “shook” a couple times. Was fine on highway until suddenly the service engine light started flashing and it began driving very rough when accelerating. Every time I accelerated the service engine light would flash. Did this the entire way back home.
