When did my radio cut out on the way home?

On Friday the 15th the radio cut out on the way home so I took it directly to the dealer. They were able to diagnosis it as needing a new control module (is that the same thing as the radio?) and placed an order for one. I expect to hear from them this week to set up an appointment for the repair. The car is an 2012 Focus S built Dec of 2011.
