Why is my water tank making a clunking noise?
When doing laundry or having showers there is a loud ca-clunk sound by pressure tank. Plumber thought it was check valve so replaced but still doing it. Says that he thinks it is the valve on the pump out in the well is not keeping water up and so when tank comes on water is hitting the check valve and making sound.
