Why is my Lay Z spa not heating up?

Low flow in your spa or hot tub is most commonly associated with a dirty spa filter. If your spa heater won’t heat, remove and clean the filter(s) rule out a pressure or flow rate problem. Low water level, a clogged pump impeller, closed valves, clogged pipes or blocked spa drain covers can also cause flow issues.

How do you reset a lazy spa heater?

Please follow these steps:

Unplug the pump from the socket.
Whilst the pump is unplugged press the thermal reset button in and hold for 5 seconds.
Plug the pump back in to the socket.
Set the pump to heat and allow for 5-6 hours of heating.

The Lay-Z-Spa is not designed to operate with water temperatures exceeding 40ºC (104ºF). Unplug the pump and plug it back in once the water temperature has reached 38ºC (100ºF) or lower. IMPORTANT: Before you restart the pump, press the reset button.
