Why is my hot water running hot then cold?

Had the same problem last week, diverter valve stopped the heat going down the flow, only went to the plate to plate, got hot fast and locked out. Check that first. Flow pipe near boiler will get hot due to heat transfer but feel flow pipe about a meter away, if it isn’t getting hot the valve has had it.

Why does my BAXI have a fault light?
A fault light appears under the 70 degree indicator and looking at the manual (which may as well be written in Russian) I’m led to believe it’s the Hot Water Temperature Sensor. From looking at other threads it seems to be a common problem but not a definitive or simple answer.
