Why is my hot water not coming out in my RV?
If there is no hot water at all, first check to see if the bypass valve has been turned off. Go outside and look for a lever or valve labeled Water Heater Bypass. If you find your RV has one, switch it off the water heater bypass setting. That should get the hot water flowing.
Why is no water coming out of my hot water faucet?
A faulty check valve at the hot outlet could also reduce, minimize or prevent adequate pressure and flow from reaching the hot faucets. Some water heaters have a check valve located at the cold water inlet to the heater, but since you’re able to fill the heater and see it draining, a check valve at this location is probably still viable.
How do I Turn Off the hot water in my RV?
The bypass valve is used to turn off the hot water when winterizing. You may have forgotten to turn the bypass valve on. Go outside and look for a lever or valve labeled Water Heater Bypass. Why does my RV have no hot water flow?
Another reason could be the water heater itself is leaking. Look under your RV for any puddles of water. There could be mineral deposits on the screen that’s inside of the faucets. That will slow down the water flow.
Why is there no pressure on my hot water heater?
I drained and flushed out the hot water heater a couple of times with some calcium deposits flushed out. Still no pressure or water flow from the hot side. Heater seems to work fine but no water pressure. The hot water outlet on the rear of the tank seems to be unreachable in the compartment. I’m at a loss. Thank you.

When to release pressure on RV hot water heater?
The temperature and pressure valve helps release pressure when it reaches 210 degrees or when the pressure inside the tank reaches 124 to 150 PSI. It’s a safety feature. You may see dripping from the valve.
