Why is my COMPOOL cva-24t not working?
I noticed that my Compool CVA-24T actuator valve is not responding appropriately. I’ve had my solar off for awhile now since it has been so warm lately, but I activated it yesterday and noticed it not functioning properly.
What is the part number on the COMPOOL valve?
The actual valve has “Compool” on the housing cover. The valve it controls is a 3-way valve oriented 180°, so I believe the actual part number is a “CVA24T” I’ve read several posts, stating that the Compool actuator is difficult to move manually, whereas the Intermetic is easier.
What should I do if my cva-24 is 180 degrees out of phase?
If the Valve rotates to the wrong position (180 degrees out of phase), adjust the switch on the back of the CVA-24 between ON1 and ON2 position. This will rotate the Valve to the correct position.

There is a built in reversing switch which tells the valve to go to the previous position on the next signal from the controller. There is a manual switch on the outside that allows you to manually change the valve or shut it off completely without changing any programs.
