Why is my bath tap not as hot as my sink?
When you aren’t getting hot water in the bathtub and the other faucets are operating normally, you don’t have to look far for the problem. It could be a build-up of minerals blocking the valve, but if your faucet has a single handle, it may have a scald prevention control, and the control could be misadjusted.
Why is water from bath hot tap only Luke Warm?
The water from all hot water taps is very hot apart from the hot water tap on the bath/shower mixer unit, which only gets luke warm. This was a problem before we got the new boiler, so I don’t think it has anything to do with the combi. Has anyone got any ideas what the problem is? Presumably the problem is with the mixer unit.

Napoleon Under the bath there are 15mm hot and a cold water pipes running to and from a New Team Pressure equalising valve, straight to the bath taps. When the hot tap is running, the hot water pipe to the valve is hot but the hot water pipe from it is only warm.
Is the Bath mixer tap hot or lukewarm?
We have a problem with our bath mixer tap. When you run the hot tap it does get hot for a bit but then goes lukewarm.. eventually hot again but due to the constant cycling between hot and lukewarm you can’t run a hot bath. The central heating is off, the combi boiler is a Vaillant 835/2 E which was last serviced 18 months ago.
How can I Stop my bath hot tap from getting hot?
That tap is not a thermostatic type, just a plain bath mixer. With my boiler, I just switch it off, & turn off the stop c ock for the cold water. That should stop the hot & cold water to the taps, you can remove the brass part, usually a rubber washer to replace, might be a ceramic disc, but looking at the tap I doubt.
