Why is my 12V water pump not working?
Lights, antenna switch, CO detector, 12V plug, fresh water pump – anything that runs on the 12V circuit does not work unless connected to AC power (via the converter). When hooked up to AC, everything works fine. Battery is fully charged (checked with meter).
What should you do if your electrical outlet is not working?
A short circuit is dangerous and can lead to a fire. If the breaker flips again after you’ve reset it—and you don’t have anything plugged in—leave the breaker off and call an electrician. Loose connecting wires can cause an outlet to lose power.
Why is my 12 volt battery not working?
I’m seeing 12 volt power leaving the battery, but NO 12 volt power is at the invertor / convertor inside the camper. This ruled out a bad invertor / convertor and led me to believe we had a cut wire somewhere… However the solution was much easier and cost nothing to fix… with that said check out the video for the solution…
What should I do if my battery converter is not working?
Unplug the power source and then take a reading at the outgoing leads from the fuses for your circuits. If you don’t have any power there then the converter is bad and needs to be replaced. Get back to me and I can make a recommendation. R.J. Are you referring to the fuse near the battery? The one that is on the wires coming out of the battery?

Why do my lights not come on when not connected to shore power?
With 12 volts present when the charger is running when on shore power, one would suspect there is a wire routing issue, as you should get 12 volts from both the charger and or the batteries if things are connected properly. I have a feeling that you do not have 110 volts from the inverter output when you are not connected to shore power.

How to troubleshoot a 12 volt water pump?
If the test light only illuminates on one side of the fuse replace the fuse with the proper amperage rated fuse and try the water pump again. If there was 12-volt DC power at both sides of the fuse check for 12-volts at the water pump switch. There should be 12-volts going to the switch, but not out of the switch until it is turned on.
Why is the breaker on my 12V not working?
If there is battery voltage on the battery side and no voltage on the trailer side the breaker is bad. As for testing your 12v system, start at the battery. Put your red lead on the positive battery post and black on the negative battery post.
What to do if your RV has 12 volt power?
If there is 12-volt power going to the interior of the RV you need to check the fuse for the water pump in the power distribution center. Determine which fuse is for the water pump (fuses are normally labeled) and find a suitable ground for the 12-volt test light. Test both sides of the fuse for 12-volt power.
