Why does spa drain in spa mode?
Although it’s hard to tell, it looks like the return valve is slightly open to the pool which would cause the spa to slowly drain in spa mode. It looks like all of your suction is coming from spa. Move skimmer valve so water from main drain is getting through and maybe pinch down suction from spa also.
