Why does my spa keep running?
One potential problem could be the tub’s thermostat timer. If the timer is faulty or incorrectly set, the tub may continue to run all the time. Another possibility is that the heating element of the hot tub has burned out. This, too, will cause the pump to run constantly.
How often should hot tub circulate?
Typical filtration cycles are four hours, twice per day (for hot tubs operating a single or two speed pump). Reducing the cycles to 3 hours twice per day will save water pumping energy. These circulation times should be set for off-peak hours.
Why will my hot tub not shut off?
If a hot tub is continuously shutting off, it is likely it is tripping the breaker. There are 7 common causes that cause this to happen including a worn GFCI Breaker, moisture in the breaker box, corrosion, loose or damaged wires, faulting components, a bad heating element, or a flooded air blower or ozonator.
Why does my spa circ pump keep running?
This is a fairly new issue about 6 months, and yes the spa is always up to the set temp. I do think its only the circ pump running, but when we first got the spa, circ pump would shut off and we never tried changing anything like the timer (wouldn’t know where it was anyway) Hubby’s thinks with it running all the time it will burn out faster.
Is it good to keep your hot tub running?
Once the hot tub’s water has been heated up to the desired temperature, you can actually save money and energy by maintaining that temperature since reheating the water from scratch each time costs more. Even if you’re only going to use your spa once per week, it should still run constantly.
Why is my spa water not turning on?
The spa isn’t heating, or the water is a lot cooler than it used to be, but everything else seems operational. The water got very hot but then everything just shut down…now the spa won’t turn on, although power seems to be getting to it.
What should I do if my spa jets are not working?
Open this valve and there should be the sound of hissing air: keep open until water starts to come out, then close the valve. Force water directly into your spa’s jets with a garden hose, holding the hose directly but gently up against each jet for 20-30 seconds.

What should I do if my hot tub Wont Stop Running?
You can also leave the heat-absorbing hot tub cover off the tub. This will stop heat from being kept inside and allow the water to cool down more quickly. This is ideal if you want to enjoy a cool soak quickly, since it takes some time for the water that is already in the tub to cool from its previous temperature.

Why does my hot tub keep running at 108f?
If the display says 108F and the water is actually that temp. and the “heat on” symbol/light shut off on the display at the set temp. of 100F…. Then you have a circuit board that is continuing to power the heater after it supposed to shut off. That would mean a bad board.
