Why does my Polaris pool cleaner stay in the deep end?
Another common cause of flow problems with the 360 is a clogged or dirty pool filter which is not allowing enough flow through the return for the cleaner to operate properly. You may need to backwash or change your sand (clean grids in DE or clean cartridge). If your filter is okay, you may have a clogged impellar.
What does the Polaris VAC sweep 360 do?
The Polaris 360 easily connects to a dedicated pressure line and is suitable for all in-ground pools. It sweeps, scrubs, and vacuums all surfaces of the pool. It also traps large debris like leaves and pebbles in its own filter bag. The Polaris Vac-Sweep® 360 features advanced technology cleaning without the need for a separate booster pump.
What does the Polaris Pool sweep 280 do?
Like the other models, the Polaris 280 is a self-contained pool cleaner meaning it works separately from your pool filter. Debris is deposited in an onboard large capacity filter bag. As it filters debris, the cleaner also circulates water around the pool. Note that the Polaris 280, similar to the 380 and 3900, requires a booster pump.

The 360 is powered by return pressure provided by your main circulation pump. It features a 31′ swivel pressure hose, back-up valve, an all-purpose filter bag, and rear sweep hose. The 360 connects to a return pressure line via the universal wall connect.
