Why does my awning fuse keep blowing?
Fuses blow because of short circuit or unusually high current draw. A shorted circuit typically causes a fuse to blow immediately. High current draw allows the load to run a bit, then blow the fuse. Your awning motor may also be bad or have gotten water in it.

How do you repair a power awning switch?
I washed out the old grease and with a fiberglass burnishing tool cleaned the copper contacts and added new grease. I then reassembled the switch, it only snaps together and reinstalled it into the control panel. Sure enough, I was back in business with the power awning switch working as good as new!
