Typically you can take off the plastic around the foot pedal and then the plastic shroud around the base of the toilet and get at most of the components although it might be a tight fit at the wall. Try tightening the screws if the loose part is the valve cover. Otherwise take a photo of the valve and we should be able to find replacement parts.
