Why did my RV antenna stop working?
Check the cable connected at the antenna as it may be loose. The cable on your antenna screws on just like the cable on the back of your TV tighten it as needed. Also visibly inspect the cable for any signs of damage, cracks, exposed wires, etc. Now check the cable connecting the antenna to the inside of your RV.
Is it possible to troubleshoot a Winegard RV antenna?

Winegard requires the traveler dish to be removed, boxed up and shipped to them to be repaired. The problem is a poorly made electric sk motor that is prone to failure. This motor is made by Merkle Korff a Japanese owned company.

Do you need amplifier for Winegard RV antenna?
Most (but not all) present day Winegard RV antennas have the amplifier built into them — for these you need a power supply block. This system runs 12-volt power up the coax to the antenna-mounted amplifier and allows TV signal back down. For the non-amplified antenna, you’ll need a amplifier block.
Why does my Winegard turret have no power?
This all started with the “No power to LNB” caused by defective piece of the mini coax they use from the LNB down to the turret, as well as a short piece connected to their control box, I refer to as the Winegard box in the turret. These pieces of mini coax actually honed out open.

Why does Winegard trav’ler never send signals down?
It just never sends the signals down after it finds them. (Possibly because it opens the circuit and kills power insertion to the LNB at the end of the hunt and tweaking.)
