Why did my Jandy pool heater shut down?
Heater fires up 3 times for about 15 sec each and then shuts down with FAULT- CHECK IGN CONTROL error. The burner does light, I can see the flames and feel the blower and the heat. The flame sensor and air flow sensor seem to work as well.

Where is the pressure sensor on the Jandy JXI pool?
The middle circle is the pressure sensor I referred to and it was the one that caused my connection problems. The pressure sensor that senses flow is located inside the panel that covers the PVC piping. The flue gas vent sensor is in the remaining circle near the large pipe that exits close to the black vent fitting.

Is it better to turn off the pool heater when the pump is off?
So its more efficient to not let the pump shut off so the heater keeps the water warm If you let the pump shut off at the end of the day as it normally would your pool will loose all the heat and then the heater has to run all morning to get the water back up to desired temp. It will cost a little more electricity but save u on your gas bill.
