Why aren t my trailer running lights not Working?
It could be a tow package fuse on the vehicle. Use the owners manual to find the locations of fuses/relays related to the tow package wiring to check them and replace as needed. If the issue is not a fuse or relay then you can test the vehicle side trailer connector using a circuit tester such as # 40376.

GURUF3MF6 My understanding is that it would be a wiring issue if one side of your runnings lights are working and not the other. Either the main power wire (brown) or the ground wire (white). if they are on their own set of white wire it might not be properly grounded.

Why are the running lights on my Silverado truck not working?
My silverado blew the fuse for the trailer running lights in this under hood fuse block. The truck’s running lights will work, but the trailer won’t if the fuse is blown.
