Another Lippert question: our rear jacks won’t retract unless we use manual mode. Lippert says it is the cold weather and that we need to spray the jacks and retract once a week. Yes, put them down and leave them down, that’s what they are for. Plus, it.takes weight off the tires. Neither the chassis manufacturer (Freightliner) or leveler manufacturer recommends storing for extended period of time with the jacks in the down position.

Here is the recommended procedure for clearing the error code: Extend all jacks at least 6 inches. Then press and hold the RETRACT button until the jacks begin retracting. All of the jacks should fully retract and clear the error.
