I used this to replace the key cover and handle assembly without having to cut any plumbing on my Hayward inground sand filter. The problem corrected was the old handle wouldn’t fully stop the backwash flow when I put it back into the filter mode. Easy to remove the old one and replace with a new one.

I just received my new Hayward SPX0714CA Key, Seal Assembly Replacement for Hayward Multiport Valves and Sand Filter Systems. Replaced the old unit with no problems. Put the assembly back together; turned on the pump, and water gushed from the top of the valve around the handle.
