Why is the FL1 code flashing on my Sundance spa?
the TB1 terminal block and then power up the spa. If the pump doesn’t run you could have a bad pump. I have a 2004 Sundance Lagunas Spa that also has the Fl1 error code. I have had them in the past, and was able to reset it with the hose up to the intake trick on many occasions, but not this time.

If the FL1 msg does not go away and you have good water movement from your Jet 1 pump on speed 1 you would want to check your connection from the PWA to the psi switch. If the connection is good you would want to check your psi switch for blockage.

My Sundance Certa 780 Series hot tub is showing an error of FL1. I went through the manual diagnostics and the error is still there. I contacted Aquatech and they suggested I clean the filter with the FilterBrite.

What causes Flo error message on Sundance Altamar spa?
I have a Sundance Altamar spa, and I’ve occasionally had that FLO error message too in the past. If I recall it might have been caused by air in the lines (not filling tub properly?) or possibly from obstruction. I had one of the small cotton intake covers get sucked into pipes before.

What should the temperature of spa water be?
Spa water heats at a rate of 3 degrees an hour wired at 110 volts and 10 degrees an hour at 220 volts. If you did not get a reading at all then continue with next test. Make sure that the heater/filter cycle is on, and the thermostat is turned all the way up doing this test.
