Where is the shut off valve on a natural gas regulator?
A shutoff valve on the riser pipe, just below the regulator, provides an emergency shut-off if you smell natural gas in the house. (Note: if the shut-off valve is off, the utility company will likely need to reestablish service; a small price to pay in an emergency.)
