Where is the hole in the Hayward pump?
So my Hayward Super II Pump is leaking from a hole near the motor end of the pump or where the motor mounts to #13 in the figure. Its hard to tell since its on the bottom.

Why is my Hayward Super pump suction leaking?
On the front of the super pump inside of the suction opening you will find a PVC fitting that is screwed into place. This fitting commonly leaks because the thread sealant or Teflon tape has worn off because the filter system has been disassembled and reassembled a few times.
