Where does the power come from on a Dometic fridge?
Have you checked that you do have power from pin 10 (on a 13 pin plug)and a return on pin 11 for the fridge. It is easy to turn on the engine and pop in the van to check a voltage but as Brecon has said “The engine has to be on a fast tickover to supply the voltage”.

Now switch back to the 20V DC range, plug into the car, have someone rev the engine and see if you get some voltage reading on the meter. Depending on the auality of your wiring relays and etc. , you may get anywhare between 10v and 14v. Asumming you do, all would seem to be fine. If you get no change, there is a fault between car and fridge.

If you do not have power there, you must find what the course is. In most cases, there is a fuse on the RV’s 12V distribution panel that supplies it. There is also a 3A fuse on the main circuit board for the 12V supply. Either of those will give the symptom that you have.

Is the Dometic fridge still operating on 110 VAC?
Fridge is still operating on 110 vac today. Just saying if you have the system operating on 110 vac and have the fridge on auto you can unplug the 110 vac plug and it should switch to gas automatically. That is if the unit is calling for cooling operation.

Fridge plug is possibly in the lower compartment of the cooker housing. I can only suggest taking the ventilation panels off and looking inside at the back of the fridge to see where the mains lead goes into it then tracing the lead back. It may not be easy!

This cover is a bit of a pain to remove due to the plastic clips on each side but with a little leverage to them it does release.
