How do I hook up my dish to my Kz TV?

Run a cable from the dish to the receiver with no splitters or switches and it should work. 2018 DG 380FLF. I had the same problem. Behind the TV is one cable going from “A” terminal to “B” terminal. I use a King portable dome for Dish. A call to KZ gave me a puzzling instruction – Attach the dome to the Cable input outside.
