Is there a replacement for the Creda Florida plus shower?
My creda florida plus shower no longer works and I wanted to buy an exact replacement for the purpose of easy installation. It appears that creda is now triton?? Would anyone be able to tell me which triton shower is the exact equivalent of a creda florida plus electric shower? Many thanks You might still be able to buy new Creda shower.
Is the Redring shower the same as an electric shower?
Redring showers are very similar and have the electric cable and pipe connections in identical position (on right hand side). Other showers also have right hand connections, or are multi fit to either side. retiredsparks and GILLIAN CARSON like this.

What’s the best way to connect a shower inlet?
Two other points (a) you need to remove some chrome at the push fit fitting to get down to the soft copper, so the claws of the fitting can bite and hold the pipe. (b) Use copper olives instead of brass ( brass being harder) and don’t tighten them so much, its better for water to weep from the joint and tighten until it stops than to overdo it.
Can a plastic pipe be connected to a Triton shower inlet?
The Triton shower manual says that when connecting to plastic pipe a pushfit fitting must not be used. It goes on to insist on a brass compression fitting. I can’t believe that it’s better for me to use a brass compression fitting! The shower inlet is plastic and my pipe is plastic…!

Where are the hot and cold water pipes in a shower?
If you are fitting the thermostatic shower to a separate cubicle you can tee into the nearest hot and cold pipes. These are often found under floorboards, or, as here, concealed in a cupboard. To check which is which, trace the pipes back from the nearest hot and cold taps. You can feel the flow of water through the pipe with the tap running.
