Where can I buy a Shadow cruiser RV?
I normally don’t do reviews but there really isn’t a lot of independent information out there on the Shadow Cruiser. I purchased the Shadow Cruiser 280QBS from Jeff Couch’s RV Nation on 4/17/2021. I pulled it all the way back to Texas where it currently sits in my driveway.
What was the problem with the Shadow cruiser?
That should have been our first clue. One of the bunks was improperly installed, one of the window shades broke immediately, the slide was improperly installed and part of the sofa frame was missing a large piece of fabric.
How big is the gap on the front of the Shadow cruiser?
Camped for 4 nights, it rained about 1.5 hrs the last night. Back to storage. 2 weeks later I went over to get something out of the trailer and discovered a large bubble under the fiberglass veneer at the front of the driver’s side wall. Closer inspection revealed a 1/16″ gap between the corner molding and the fiberglass, on both sides.
Is the Shadow cruiser a good floor plan?
The floor plan is great with the 277BHS. The build quality is actually really good. The only complaint I have about that is that they glued wood inserts into the trim on the cabinet doors. It didn’t hold up with the kids slamming them up shut after hot storage.
