Is the Amtrol wx-202 well-X Trol tank waterlogged?
Our Amtrol WX-202 Well-X-Trol well tank was short cycling and making noises after getting to full pressure. It turns out the tank was waterlogged and needed to be removed. It was replaced with a WX-202XL which runs at a higher pressure (40-60 psi). Here is a link to the tanks on Amazon:

At the end of long pipe runs:The Well-X-Trol tank can be positioned at the end of a long run of pipe so it can provide rapid system response and adequate protection. When this location is chosen, the pressure switch should either be relocated with the Well-X-Trol tank or the setting should be adjusted to compensate for any line pressure drop.

Yes, the WX-202 is connected to the water supply line through a 1″ NPT elbow connection located on the bottom of the unit. i had loss of power for 26 hours and now i have had to add pressure to my tank. i pumpt it up to 50 psi. is that enough? We recommend that you set you tank to your system pressure.
