When does the Norcold safety switch go off?
The Norcold safety switch is designed to go off at 800 degrees F and prevent against a potential fire in the RV. A company by the name of ARP makes a high temperature switch that prevents overheating of the ammonia, however, their unit cannot legally be installed without the Norcold recall switch first being installed.

The yellow arrow points at the slot where the cooling unit heater access door tab is engaged. Just bend the tab to open the door.
