What would cause my heater blower to stop working?
Often, the issue is that the heating system is simply dirty. If your furnace has a dirty blower, the blower could cause equipment failure. In short, a dirty blower can cause the heat exchanger to fail. Dirty air filters could also be the reason your heater stopped working.
Do I need to tap my blower motor to get it to work?

Is the 10 Amp Fuse on my heater fan burned out?
The 10 amp fuse was not burned out. The blower motor resistor was a little rusty.I inspected and found no burned or melted wires anywhere , at the inside three way dash switch , at the blower motor and at the resistor.I know the air bag is tied into the same fuse , I must have replaced the fuse 12 times .

Why is my blower not working on my Chevy Silverado?
Another common problem will be the blower motor will stick in the ON position and never shut off. You can access the resistor module behind the fuse box located on the driver’s side lower dash compartment. You must visually inspect the resistor, and make sure it isn’t melted or burnt. If it is, then replace it.
What to do if your blower won’t work?
Head under the hood and check the blower motor wiring to make sure it is getting power to it. If it is, then your only option is to remove the blower motor and have it tested or replaced. You can do so yourself if you have the equipment, or have it done at the dealership or parts store.
