What to do if your dream maker hot tub is not working?
Clean the filter and open the jets to test whether the heat problem resolves. If the jets won’t come on or if you notice no air bubbles, check that the power is turned on and the jets are fully open. The jets may malfunction if the pump or an internal valve is faulty; both issues require a call to your dealer for repair.
What does no spa light on Dream Maker mean?
No spa light equals a burned-out bulb, a blown light fuse or a light harness that has come unplugged from the control box. Your Dream Maker dealer is best to contact for a blown fuse or an unplugged light harness, but you can replace either of the bulbs.
Why is the heating element on my spa not working?
If for any reason one of these components fail then the required voltage to the coil will be jeopardized and the contactor will not close in order to send power to the heating element. As mentioned above, it is usually one of these components that will cause a spa not to heat.
What should the temperature of spa water be?
Spa water heats at a rate of 3 degrees an hour wired at 110 volts and 10 degrees an hour at 220 volts. If you did not get a reading at all then continue with next test. Make sure that the heater/filter cycle is on, and the thermostat is turned all the way up doing this test.
Are there any problems with the Dream Maker hot tub?
Dream Maker’s line of hot tubs varies in features, but most models have multiple jets, digital controls, a filtering system and a heating system. Many problems with the tub occur within one of these features. Some problems you are able to troubleshoot and repair, but other issues require a call to the dealer for assistance.
What to do if your Dreammaker heater is not working?
So on Friday I went home and put a tarp doubled over op top of the tub end to end, then placed a sheet of plywood over the tarp and a couple 2×8’s to make up the rest of the coverage over the top of the tub so that it was fully sealed. Turned on the spa and left it.
Where does the heat come from on a Dreammaker pool?
Welcome to TFP!! While some spas in the past (maybe still) were designed to capture excess heat from the pump by wrapping tubing around the motor, this is not the primary source of heat. There will be an in line heater somewhere in the pipe from the pump to the return jets.

What should I do if my spa pressure switch is not working?
Put the wires back on the pressure switch. Run the spa without the filter, if you see the contactor close and you have the proper readings at the heating element then you’ve solved the problem (Replace the Filter). If removing the filter didn’t solve the problem, then the pressure switch should be replaced.

Do you need a hot stick for a Dreammaker pump?
You need that red wet end of the pump (that is the “heater”). There are “fins” or groves in that part that create friction and that heats the water. That’s the “hot stick” part. Your new pump does not have that. In my experience you have to order the pump from dreammaker (I have replaced 2 on 2 separate tubs).
