What kind of problems does Thor Motor Coach have?
Like every RV takes about a year or so to shake everything out of them. Just minor stuff. The leveling jacks a couple of times. Found workarounds on UTube. Water leak near the DC pump. Needed to be tightened down. Exhaust pipe got crunched on a curb, poor design. Our RV mechanic modified it and it works great in new position.

Is there a company that can work on a Thor coach?
The only authorized company, that could work on this coach is three hours away! We would not recommend anyone buying a Thor coach. Do more research than we did. We expected some issues but not as many or the kind of issues we have experienced.

Where is the low point drain on a Thor Motor Coach?
On the exterior of the coach, in the basement area, locate the city water connection, water filter, and low point water drains. Start with the “low point drains” and rotate the handle counterclockwise to open the valve. This should start draining water from the interior water lines.
How can I winterize my Thor Motor Coach?
Locate the city water connection port and attach the garden hose. Locate the small black valve on the white panel and rotate it to the “winterize/sanitize setting”. Insert the hose into a gallon of antifreeze.
When does a Thor inverter switch to DC?
A: Our inverter/chargers are equipped with Automatic Transfer Switching (ATS). When AC utility power becomes unavailable (e.g., a blackout),the THOR THIC (Inverter Chargers) automatically switches to DC battery power so that connected electronics stay powered.
Can a modified sine wave be used with Thor manufacturing?
THOR Manufacturing does not recommend the use of a Modified Sine Wave with any and all medical equipment. Q: How long can I operate my inverter? A: The runtime (i.e., amount of time that the inverter will power connected electronics) depends on the amount of battery power available and the load that it is supporting.
