Jayco in their wisdom cut corners and do not fit that non-return valve. Rather than waiting for the pump to break down I would suggest you take it upon yourself and correct this poor workmanship.

There seems to be a problem when when connecting to mains water. You likely know about this issue or if your van just ticked over 3 months old your about to. Here’s a way to fix it in 10 minutes for about $100 bucks. I know Jayco would do it under warranty, but this is less of a headache.
