The ECM is the computer brains of the EFI system. It uses a programmable-read-only-memory (PROM), read-only-memory (ROM) and random-access-memory (RAM) to accomplish a variety of functions. The PROM is the so called “computer chip” which provides the specific information for the engine.

My parents bought this motorhome in 1994. It was purchased from the first owner who were also located in the Ocala, Florida area. They used it to camp up in Georgia and Alabama. When the motorhome was not being used it was kept in my father’s barn. It is just time for somebody else to enjoy it.

How to remove intake manifold from GMC motorhome?
Removed intake including carb disconnecting as few vacuum lines as possible. Then disconnected exhaust pipe so that themanifold came out with the head. Much easier to remove manifold bolts on thebench.When we go back together I will install the manifold on the pipe loosely.Then mount the head and torque bolts to specifications.
