What does water SW Open mean on Rheem pool heater?
Re: Rheem pool heater display says “water SW open”. What… That refers to your Pressure Switch. If it is open that means it is not closing.

PLCUSTOMER: Right, I know there is some kind of regulator, for lack of a better word, and not sure if that is related to this, but I had problems with it on my last heater and the pool people removed it.

Use a pool chemistry test kit to confirm there is no chlorine in the condensation. Or, b. Shut the heat pump OFF and leave the filter pump running to see if the water stops dripping. If the water stops dripping, the heat pump is not leaking.
