What do you do if the outlet in your room goes out?
Answer: The first thing to do is to unplug everything that is plugged into all the outlets that do not have power. Then reset the designated (and hopefully labeled) kitchen breaker in the breaker box by turning it off and then on again. Sometimes a breaker will look like it is not tripped but in reality it is.
Why is the power out in my bedroom?

Why is the breaker side of my room off?
A backstabed receptacle that has a lose connection could be the first one in line from the panel, and this could be the reason the entire room is off. Unless you know for sure which breaker, turn the main off to pull out the receptacles. Being a novice, I would not worry about the line side of the breaker.

Can a breaker tripped on multiple dead outlets?
Multiple dead outlets, breaker not tripped. Recently lost any function in a number of outlets on one circuit in the kitchen. I was only running the coffee pot when it happened and the breaker did not trip.
