What are the error codes on my hot tub?
Today, I want to talk about two error codes that we get on the top site display. One is FLO and the other is FLC. These two errors deal with the flow going through the heater and the pressure switch. The first thing that you want to do if you get these error codes, is actually take your breaker and turn it off and then turn it back on.
Why do I get a Flo error on my hot tub?
Another thing that you want to check is your skimmer and the filter area. When you look at the spa, you want to make sure that water is flowing in through the skimmer and that there’s no obstructions there. If you did have a filter in, for example, and you got something caught in the system, that can cause a FLO error.
What’s the difference between Flo and FLC on a hot tub?
They’ll come off your top side display. One error code is FLO. The other one is FLC. Flow switch open, flow switch closed. The purpose of your pressure switch is to measure pressure in the line when your pump is running. So your pump comes on low speed.

What to do if your hot tub has a bad flow switch?
If there is no water movement in the spa check to see if there is hair or debris wrapped around the Flow Switch paddle. If this is not the case you could have a bad Flow Switch.
