What causes the spa side error code to go away?
Depending on where the temp sensor is mounted; usually in the wall of the spa in a sensor mount, you could have a flow issue. Shut the spa down, remove the filter and make sure all the jets are open. Then power the system back up, if the error code goes away, the problem was either a dirty filter (clean or replace) or too many jets were closed off.
What does ER1 on the thermostat display mean?
If you are getting the ER1 message you will need to check that the floor sensor has been connected to the correct terminals at the back of the thermostat and it has not come loose.

Interlock failure – possible pump or ozone spike. Unknown water temperature. (Displays when first powered up after refill).

It would be impossible to troubleshoot your spa without one. Make sure the batteries are fresh in the meter to insure you get accurate readings. GFCI trips when powering up the system or when calling for heat. Spa won’t heat. The water gets too hot.

Why does my Marquis hot tub not bubble?
When your Marquis hot tub won’t bubble properly, there likely is a problem with the jets. Check the shut-off valves in the tub’s equipment area to ensure they are fully open. Examine the jets themselves and turn the jet face to permit maximum water flow. The jets also could fail to work if the air control valve is closed.
