Should you travel with fresh water tank full?
If you are planning on going to an area that has all the connections and services mentioned above there is no need for you to travel with a full freshwater holding tank especially if you are interested in getting the best fuel mileage you can in your RV.
What kind of water tank does Shasta have?
There are 2 gray water tanks, which is nice. Also, the black tank flush makes it easy to make sure tank is clean after use. The outdoor refrigerator and cabinets is very handy when cooking outdoors or to grab a quick drink when hanging outside.
How is the capacity of a Shasta RV determined?
A label identifying the unloaded vehicle weight of the actual unit and the cargo carrying capacity is applied to every Shasta RV prior to leaving our facilities. The load capacity of your unit is designated by weight, not by volume, so you cannot necessarily use all available space when loading your unit.
When did Shasta camper slide start to leak?
In the early summer of 2018 the slide began to leak. We were instructed by the dealer to contact Shasta in regards to the camper leaking. I did contact Shasta/ Forest River in June 2018.

Towed it back to our camping spot again where it sat. Then in the Summer of 2019 the camper began to leak and again damaging the floor and lower portion of wall. We contacted dealership who did the repairs. It was stated they were only taking appointments for customers who purchased their RV from them.
