There have not been any design changes to the Carryout G3, the power inserter has to be installed between the satellite receiver and the Carryout G3 antenna. Depending on how/when the RV was manufactured, the exterior coax cable receptacle might be connected to a wall switch that doubles as the power switch for the over-the-air roof antenna.
