Is there warranty on Hayward Ecostar variable speed pool?
Apparently the most common issue is a failing power IC in the motor controller. It has been so common that Hayward has offered replacement motor drives beyond the warranty period. In my case, however, I was just denied this and given an offer to buy a new TriStar pump at a measly couple hundred dollars discount.
