Is there a problem with my Winegard dish?
Hoping to find a simple way to fix an issue with my dish. I’ve done a lot of testing and here is what I’ve discovered.
How does Winegard trav’ler sk-swm3 dish problem?
(I’m presuming the box in the turret electrically kills the signals from passing through to the Genie while it’s on the hunt for the satellites and tweaking the signals so that the signals don’t appear and then disappear on the TV until it has finished the seeking and tweaking process.) It just never sends the signals down after it finds them.
Can a Winegard antenna work with Dish Network?
The Winegard®TRAV’LER Automatic Multi-Satellite TV Antenna will work with any DISH Net- work™ or DIRECTV®receiver currently in production. However, we recommend: – DISH Network : models 311 and 211 – DIRECTV : models D11 and H20 Each receiver will require at least one coax cable.

Why are there no local channels on Direct TV?

Your local channels are delivered via a spot beam satellite that targets areas immediately around a city where you live, like a spotlight. If you leave the spot beam area, your local channels will no longer be available.
