Its a new RV, so the original failure was UNexpected. This screen provides very good protection for a door screen. It is heavy duty enough to stand up under dog claws yet you can see through it very well. In fact our smaller dogs dislike the feel of scratching on the design of this guard so much that have quit even trying to scratch.

I drilled 13/64″ holes for them since they are self-tapping and one of the heads snapped off halfway in and I had to drill it out…….arrgghh! Admittedly it was cold out so the steel was brittle but was still aggravating.
