How many amps does an escape pod draw?
I can’t stop dreaming about June 15, 2013 when we get to permanently escape in our “Escape Pod” which is a 176T towed by a Chevy van with a 5.7L engine. The A/C draws 15 amps, but you will see a larger initial surge.

(The other battery came with the R-POD and has even less info posted on it. However, I am confident that it is also a Group 24 battery.)

The easiest way to figure it out is going to be to forget the math and just experiment. Turn fan and fridge on in trailer, and run the battery down to a point. Then plug trailer in and hook up a voltmeter. Keep an eye on the voltage so you can tell what charge mode the converter is in, and see how long it takes to charge.
