For accuracy Pumps should be matched by the Amp rating, not the HP shown. With all that said the original Cal Spa pump has been replaced with the one shown, it is a direct drop in and is rated the same as the original Cal Spa Power-Right pump (WHO IS NOW OUT OF BUSINESS) and is much cheaper and available.
