Why is oil coming out of my gas burner?
Your burner is dripping in the air tube and it is leaking out where the air tube joins the burner. This is caused by after-drip because of air in the oil lines or oil hitting the flame cone and running out. Could cause a sooting problem down the road.

It appears that when it is running oil will ooze up from the seam on the blower. It drips out of the bottom of the blower when its shutdown. Upon further review, the fuel would have to be blowing back some how from the nozzle or the feeder tube that feeds the nozzle is leaking somehow. How can I Fix my Riello oil burner?
Parts for Riello burners are harder to find these days. I have been using a pan under the burner to collect the oil and dump it out every couple of weeks. Not a lot of oil but not the safest thing. Well for $32 I fixed the oil leak on my Riello 40 by replacing the hydraulic jack (note it needed the small one). See the video.
