Why does my Raypak pool heater not ignite?
Now the ignite will spark (with the code on the unit as SPK), but even with a lighter, the unit does not flame up. I suspect that there is no gas going to the burners. Anyone have similar issues? Could it be the gas regulator (I’ve turned it off and on many times), or a clogged gas line. Of course, we have company coming over tomorrow!

This sensor did not have the correct adapter to fit both the original or the new control board for the Raypak Model P-R406A-EN-C; manufactured after 2004. The adapter is too large and does not fit the control board. However, the manual clearly lists this part number as the part for this model.

Never worked on a raypak, but i’ve worked on a lot of burners… I assume you have access to the gas valve if you are in the panel changing the board. Off of the valve there should be a small, usually aluminum pilot tube – follow it and you should find the pilot burner. It is the electronic ignition model.
