When do you need to reset a thermostat?
Check both connections to make sure they are tight and once you unplug the cable, you will have to do a system reset. Or a component in the system failed somewhere and it may be the best thing to replace the thermostat. If by chance your thermostat is still under warranty, then you should not touch either the AC or the thermostat.

What does the remote thermostat read on my RV?
The remote sensor has always read erratic on the inside temp. It will show 55 degrees in 90 plus temps. The reason I have put up with it for so long is sometimes it reads right , but after we got in from this last trip it has read in the 55 degree range.
