What happens to the temperature of a spa?
Spa will only heat during filter period. Temperature will remain close to desired, but it will drop between filter periods. If users can get in a routine, filter period should overlap the usage time by a half hour. This will have spa temperature closest to the desired temperature.
What does it mean when your Spa is in sleep mode?
“Ec” or “Ecn” will appear solid when the temperature is not current and will alternate with the temperature. Sleep mode heats the spa to within 20 F (11 C) of the set temperature only during filter cycles. “Sl” or “SLP” will appear on the display until mode is changed.

When does spa go into dry or priming mode?
(Displays on the 5th occurrence of “HFL” message with 24 hours). Heater is shut down, but other spa functions run normally. dr = Inadequate water detected in heater. dry = Inadequate water detected in heater. (Displays on third occurrence of “dr” message). Spa is shut down. Pr = When spa is first actuated, it will go into Priming Mode.

Do not use spa when temperature is flashing or the OH message is displayed. HLoH = Hi Limit Over Heat. Hi limit sensor is disconnected or shorted or the spa temperature is above 112° F. SEoP = Sensor open or disconnected. Heater disabled but the spa is operational. SESH = Sensor short, nonfunctional.
