How to fix a still red flow light?
Removed the Pool cartridge filter to see if that could be impacting flow – still RED flow light 4. Shorted the flow switch – connecting Red and Black wires coming from the unit together – still RED flow light 5. Ordered a new flow switch just in case- connected – still RED flow light.
What does the no flow light on TFP mean?
The no-flow light really has nothing to do with the cell directly. There is a flow switch that makes sure water is flowing before the cell will turn on and seeing the no-flow light means that the switch isn’t seeing a flow. It’s either defective or the screen is clogged and not allowing enough water to pass through. Welcome to TFP!!
Why is the no flow light always on?
The NO FLOW LIGHT is always on and most of time also cell reversing light. There are no error codes. Today pool company said the cell may be bad. I called handy to get info and they said possibly its a bad sensor. Do you this think this will fix it? I also had yellow mold but used algaecide and extra chlorine which got rid of it.

The unit has been stable (no “water flow” warning lights) over the last cold spell – last 3 days. I did have the thermostat set on 68. This morning I set thermostat to 69 and within 15 minutes the “water flow” light came on. I have 2 geothermal units in the house.
