How should I go about installing a 12 volt DC?
I used 12 gauge house-wiring cable. The most important thing is to use the proper fuses. You must have a Class K or better fuse directly at the battery. You can use cheaper fuses for branch circuits but all output from the battery must go through the single large fuse. Use a 3-pole disconnect: solar panel, charging line, load line.
